need help again, LOL

i need some help once again. I don't know how or why but my everquest folder in the C: drive has changed to the name Everlock. In stead of being a regular folder, the color is kinda faded. I tried to change the name bac to everquest but i got an error message saying another program is using the program. I can't get on EQ because all the zone files in the folder are faded as well. I dont know wut the hell is up. I just need to get bac on soon

ok update, LOL
i found th regular everquest folder inside the everlock BS folder. i took it out and put all the files and stuff in everquest folder. everything is all set but the folder and everything inside is still faded color. WTF is wrong?

if you are running WinXP Pro then someone has used the file encryption function on the folder, or some other security/encryption method to lock the use of those files if using WinXP Home. Either someone is hacking your comp, or someone in family is delibratly preventing you from access, sorry [img]frown.gif[/img]

send me an email with your version of windows and software installed if possible, at least I can perhaps tell you what software may be involved, maybe you should find out who does not want you to play, or if it is a prank in bad taste before you do anything. best I can offer for now, will think on it and post back later.

If ya can't do anything else to it re boot your computer and then hit ctrl + del and make sure no kind of eq files running in the background and then try and access it. By any chance are your mom and dad maybe locking it out on you? I think windows xp has a function were you can lock out some programs for some users, are you using the adm account or one that someone setup for you? Or if all else fails you can try to del and re install eq. Hit me up on aim today if you can before I head off to work names southbudking1
